Welcome to my bakeshop! My husband, Daniel and I live in New Prague. We have 3 children, William, Charlotte, and Theodore. Some of our favorite things to do as a family are play board games and explore new restaurants!

Baker | Owner
Ever since I was a young girl, I always loved baking. I watched my grandmother Rose bake from scratch and would watch her for hours. My mother was a huge inspiration to me as well. She always had fresh cookies and bars waiting for us when we got home from school. I always had such excitement waiting to get home to see what she had made! I knew I had the same love and passion for baking, and this was something I wanted to share with others. In 2003 I started a professional career as a baker.
That’s when Sugar Rose Bakeshop was born.
Rose is a generational name in my family originating with my grandmother. I wanted my bakery to uphold the name as well!
Along with creating fun new menu items with seasonal ingredients, I get to share my passion of baking with each person that walks into my bakeshop! Whether it is a special occasion, midday snack or a pick me up, I get to be a part of their day. I love how happy I can make people just by sharing my baked goods with them.
